The Ride Out of the Darkness™ Travel Train is more than just a ride—it’s a nationwide movement. Riders from 37 states and counting are coming together to journey to Lakeland, FL for one powerful purpose: to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
Some will ride from Maine, Washington, California, and beyond—crossing thousands of miles, through rain, heat, and even hurricanes—just to stand together in unity.
This isn’t just a ride. It’s a mission.

HOW THE TRAVEL TRAIN BEGAN
In 2022, Amanda and Mari (@my_turn_moto) met on TikTok through their shared passion for motorcycles and mental health awareness.
Mari, who had her own personal journey with mental health struggles, reached out to Amanda with a big idea— What if we made the ride to the event just as meaningful as the event itself? From that moment, the Travel Train was born. This is more than an event. It’s a movement. And YOU are invited to be part of history.

HOW THE TRAVEL TRAIN WORKS
🚨 Attention Riders: Travel Train Participation Requirements
To join the official Ride Out of the Darkness™ Travel Train, you must complete two separate steps—no exceptions:
✅ Step 1: Purchase Your Ride Ticket
This confirms your participation in the event, includes your official ride patch, and supports mental health and suicide awareness initiatives.
✅ Step 2: Register for the Travel Train
This step is required so we can:
Track headcount for safety escorts and ride logistics
Prepare lunch counts with Harley-Davidson dealerships
Coordinate hotel blocks and stops
Ensure everyone has signed a liability waiver
🛑 Waivers are required for all participants, and are part of the Travel Train registration form.
📋 If you are not registered, you cannot ride in the Travel Train group.
